The home offices for both NFS and Pershing are being operated by a small number of employees while the rest are working from home. As a result both firms are unable to process incoming mail. This includes both Stock Certificates, and checks for deposit. Please have clients mail these to your office for mobile deposit, or to Securities America's home office.

Currently Pershing is not sending distribution checks via overnight delivery. They will send them out via regular mail, ACH or WIRE. If you have an overnight check already requested, please check the Account Servicing.
Please note, if the amount requested is over $250,000, Pershing will split the distribution and send multiple checks.
Securities America has approved GoToMyPC as a vendor to be able to log on to your office computer remotely.
Securities America has also approved GoToMeeting and Cisco's Webex for remote client meetings.
If you have not already, this is a great time to adopt the use of DocuSign to complete client paperwork. Both the version built into New Business Solutions and directly logging in are very useful. If you need any help with training, please contact our office.
Please feel free to use our office as an alternate mailing address for client paperwork or checks that are waiting for approval.

In light of the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on small businesses, some advisors may choose to take advantage of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) set up by the U.S. Small Business Administration. As fiduciaries, the SEC requires advisors to disclose to clients all material facts related to their advisory relationships. The SEC’s staff views circumstances leading to advisors to seek PPP loans or other types of financial help as material, thus triggering disclosure on the firm’s Form ADV Part 2A. Firms experiencing conditions that could impair their ability to meet contractual obligations to clients may also trigger disclosure. At this time, Securities America Advisors and Arbor Point Advisors have not requested this assistance, and therefore disclosure is not required on the Firm’s Form ADV Part 2A. As an investment advisor representative registered under either firm, if you have received assistance or are applying for a loan, this does not trigger disclosure on the Firm’s ADV Part 2A, nor does it trigger disclosure on your individual ADV Part 2B or on Form U4.
