After graduating from Wabash College in 1996, Thane Bushong launched his career as an investment advisor with a simple goal: to help people build wealth. It was during those early years that he decided to strike out on his own. In 1999, Thane launched a small investment firm focused on personalized service, trust, and transparency. He called it Private Capital Management Group, or PCMG.
Over the next 20 years, Thane diversified and expanded PCMG’s offerings to meet his clients’ wide-ranging needs. He added mortgage services in 2004, and insurance services in 2006. More recently, Thane partnered with CPA Kyle Platt to add accounting services, making PCMG one of the few independent, fully integrated financial firms in the region.
Thane and his family are personally and financially invested in the Noblesville community. His wife, Tara, owns a yoga studio, Shine, that promotes health and wellness throughout Hamilton County. Thane’s company Timberline Properties recently renovated another property on the Square, preserving the historic character of the space while providing opportunities for new entrepreneurs and their employees to thrive. In his free time, Thane can often be found on a nearby youth sports field, cheering on one of his four children.
